We provide professional housekeeping services in Southern Maine for over 40 Residential customers, as well as New Constructions, Seasonal Rentals, Cottages, Move-ins and Move-outs. We've also expanded to include Commercial Housekeeping.
The owners of P & J Cleaning Service personally screen and interview all newly hired employees. An added benefit of P & J Cleaning Service is that we send the same employees to the same places, whenever possible, to ensure that our customers are comfortable with their cleaning service providers. The members of our staff are thoroughly trained and professional. We work as teams, and usually as 2-person teams.
P & J Cleaning Service provides all cleaning products, and offers a Complete Cleaning Service at affordable rates.
Complete Cleaning Service Checklist
- Vacuum edge of carpets and under all furniture
- Vacuum stairs
- Vacuum upholstered furniture
- Vacuum hard surface floors
- Vacuum under all baseboards and wipe down mop boards with dusting rag
- Dust and polish furniture, Windex all glass tops
- Feather dust around ceiling to remove any cobwebs
- Wipe down window sills and ledges
- Feather dust all pictures to remove any dust
- Feather dust all six panel doors
- Clean entry and patio doors to remove prints
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, counters, tubs and showers with hot water and chemicals
- Wipe down lights above sink
- Wash bathroom floors, even if they look clean
- Wipe off top of refrigerator and clean inside gaskets
- Clean bottom of refrigerator
- Disinfect kitchen sink and counters with disinfectant
- Wash window over kitchen sink
- Clean stove top, burners and inside of oven door
- Clean the inside of dishwasher door
- Clean the inside of the microwave with disinfectant
- Wipe down toaster/toaster oven with disinfectant
- Treat all stainless steel appliances
- Wipe down kitchen cabinets
- Empty all trash and put into designated location
- Wash kitchen floor, even if it looks clean
- Wash all hard surface floors, even it it looks clean
